Gopal Shenoy’s SolidWorks Life Lessons

25 July 2007 2 Comments

Gopal Shenoy, if you haven’t heard, has left SolidWorks to pursue other career opportunities.  Gopal was Strategic Marketing Manager for SolidWorks, and was perhaps best-known for his customer visits.

I know that’s how I first met him a couple of years ago – he did one of his customer visits with my company the day after he spoke at our user group meeting.  He was very thorough and really tried to understand exactly how you were using SolidWorks (or wanted to use SolidWorks).  And he took very detailed notes!  😉

He has also been instrumental in the redesign of 3DContentCentral, an online CAD parts repository, and he presented several sessions at SolidWorks World every year.

Today, his last day at SolidWorks, Gopal has posted his "Top 11 things I learnt at SolidWorks in the last 11 years!!" to his blog, Bazaar Buzz.  It is a great read, and there are some great tips and lessons to be learned by all, no matter what industry you are in.

I wish Gopal luck in his future endeavors!

  • That is a great post huh? My favorite is #4 – It is all about “relationships”

That’s so true from personal to business life. Glad you posted this.
