The first General Session of SolidWorks World 2010 began in Anaheim, CA, with SolidWorks CEO Jeff Ray taking the stage.  Jeff mentioned that in the current state of the economy, most companies were scaling back events, but that there were over 5000 people registered for this year’s conference.

The proceedings from the SolidWorks World 2009 International User Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida, are now live! And things are a little different this year… Based on feedback from previous World’s, SolidWorks has opened up access to a broader audience and captured more media data to share.

Well, it’s that time of year again.  The time of year when you start seeing Top Ten lists popping up everywhere.
But this is a unique Top Ten list, as it is still in the process of being written!  SolidWorks has a new page up where users can submit and vote on their favorite enhancements.  The input gleaned from this page will be used to create the list of the 10 most-requested enhancements that will be announced at SolidWorks World 2009 in February.
