Ok, so after playing around with Disqus after some of the other bloggers started using it, I decided that I wanted to use it for comments here. I really like the threading and social aspects of it, and you can edit your comments too!
I also like the fact that once you authenticate, you can comment on any other Disqus community blog without having to log in again. So if you don’t already have a Disqus account, go create one to get started; and leave a comment!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Disqus Brian!
I see the headline now “Disqus Slowly Conquers Solidworks Community”. Glad to see you moved to it Brian, I like it a lot!
sweet gravy man. rock the disqus. I think the only one with his own self-hosted blog that hasn't gone all disqus is Matt?
Well, I'm not self-hosted yet…I may possibly do that in the future.
You know where to find me if you decide to make the switch…..
Definitely. This is also why i switched to Disqus. : )
This is the most reliable thing of thing we've ever used
Yups !
Build a global profile, or comment blog, to collect and show off what you’re saying , Connected with a large discussion community and Never lose your comments, even if the website goes away .
Yeah !
Disqus is great!
Disqus is an exceptional comment management platform…

It was my understanding that he current version of the plugin shows the comments via javascript? I know in the past versions of the plugin Scott Jangro hacked it to remove nofollow.

Interesting post. I have stumbled and twittered this for my friends. Hope others find it as interesting as I did.

Disqus provides you with a better way of attracting blog readers to start thread conversations in blog posts.
Disqus now brings us the ability to comment using your Twitter account. You don’t have to give up your actual Twitter credentials since Disqus takes advantage of Twitter’s support..
I am new to Disqus but i really like it. It is much better commenting than anything i have seen on wordpress or digg.
